It would be aweomse if there was a blu-ray release of this performance with studio-quality recordings.
Minus all the ambience from performing outside (the crowds, air, wind, planes, etc).
Like an isolated score, per se.

It would go perfect with the upcoming re-release of the first to JJA films on BD.
Star Trek: Into Darkness is getting a re-release in a dual-boxset: The Compendium.
Only this time it will have THE IMAX ASPECT RATIOS!!!

Actually, it released yesterday (somewhat unexpectedly). Mine ought to arrive within the next week, but others will get theirs probably within the next couple of days.

Remastered and some other stuff.

Yes. I saw. It contains a few new tracks and better sound. It is still not complete. Apparently, the few remaining missing tracks are…missing. Even Mancina cannot find them, so, not gonna happen..:sad:

I mean, it’s not like 1982 where the tapes are supposedly gone…

In the release notes, they say Snow combed through everything he wrote in the year before and after or something and could find no trace of the missing tracks. Apparently it was a big search, and was intended to be a complete release, but no luck.

That’s too bad.

Still worth it if only for the remastered audio.
