This compilation, that I made personally, includes all the songs that are in the movie. Regarding the unreleased cues by Antonio Pinto and James Newton Howard, I did a 6 channel DVD audio rip which has been mixed down from 5.1 to 2.0 stereo with little SFX (*).

Most of the cues in the �Collateral Promotional Score� by Antonio Pinto are unused, so I decided not to put them in this collection.

I hope that someday a label will release the complete score: I’ve read that James Newton Howard composed a lot of music which unfortunately didn’t stayed in the movie, thanks to the director Michael Mann.

Apparently Mann has a habit of slicing and dicing the work of the hired composer. Just ask Gregson-Williams about ‘Blackhat’.
