So for those of you who are unfamiliar with CLAMP, they’re the original artists behind some of the most well known and loved manga/anime, such as Card Captor Sakura, X, Chobits, Angelic Layer, and Magic Knight Rayearth to name just a few. It’s a group of 4 women and they’re about to celebrate their 15th anniversary.

Well, some of you may also know that they’ve always been very camera-shy and henceforth it’s rare to actually see them. Well, for their 15th anniversary, they’re doing some kind of promotional magazine where it will feature photos of them in a group for the first time.

So anyhoo, thought it was an interesting little tidbit since I know there’s a lot of CLAMP fans on the shrine.

There’s some of the article I couldn’t translate very well (it’s in French) so maybe Tokiko or other’s could share a better light on it. It has something to do with them possibly changing their name, but I can’t really tell for sure.

I tried the best I could, but my French is pretty weak. Hopefully Anna will see this soon, as she’s helped me with French stuff before. ^^

It sounds really interesting. Hopefully someone will be able to get a hold of the article and scan it.

=O Hiya! Uh, you really think of me as a French-speaking person? Wow, thank you…

Rough translation of the sentence that matters:
Understand that the article uses their "new names", that I have chosen not to use here. It’s been fifteen years that we’ve been calling them like that, we don’t want to get used to calling them differently now, huh?

So, now it’d be interesting to know what "new names" this article uses, hm? I suppose that means their individual names/pseudonyms?
I am no Clamp fan, and hardly know more than the very basics about them, so I really don’t know that. ;_;

Ah Clamp…yes, very popular with young girls I would guess. Anyway, I wonder if they’re cute.
