look at a strategy guide, or pay closer attention to the buttons you have to press. i forget exactly how that part works but it wasn’t that hard

You know that the buttons you’re supposed to press are on your SNES pad, right?

yea duh but i downloaded it for an emulator, and i made sure that all the buttons that i was pressing were exactly the right ones matched up for my keyboard, so i figured either something was wrong with the rom or i was missing something, but from what i hear i guess it has to be the rom 🙁

I don’t think it’s the rom. if the rom is reading the buttons otherwise, like …letting you walk around… and fight and stuff, then it’d also read the buttons when you enter the password.

You’re just doing it wrong! Are you pressing them all at the same time? It’s a hard problem to correct since there aren’t any instructions beyond "press the buttons when prompted" =\

yea i dunno… i checked and rechecked what exactly i was supposed to do and how i was supposed to do it, and i got no response even after doing it hundreds of times over, im thinking of just starting over which really sucks but ohwell… i hate technology… or my retardedness….

I recall also having this problem, I think. It has to do with the fact that you’re using an emulator and you can’t press certain buttons all at once. Isn’t it the part where you have to press like three buttons at once or something?

I think what I did to get around it was to assign one of the buttons to a turbo button – ie say the combination is A, B and X, assign a button to A Turbo, then just enter it with that in the place of A. For some reason it accepts a turbo version of the button you want. Hard to explain, but I think that’s how I fixed it. =\
