Card rules help

I played cards with the man in balamb bending over by the docks, and he erased the open rule in balamb and balamb garden. Ever since I’ve been trying to find a way to "revive" this rule so that I can spread it to other regions of the world. Right now I’m on disc 2 with the flying garden. Anyone got any advice?

Simply play Triple Triad in another region that has the Open rule; afterwards, save the game near a card player in the desired area you’d like the rule to spread, and then challenge your selected opponent with a combination of the rule in which was newly presented to Balamb/Balamb Garden and the one that you’re attempting to bring back.

If memory serves, I don’t believe it matters whether you win or lose.

Thanks, I managed to get the queen back into balamb and she reestablished open for me. I hate abolishing rules, it takes forever to get that last pesky rule gone
