Cannonball Express

Welcome to the wild and wacky world of Cannon Films, the B-movie studio of the 1980s that discovered Chuck Norris and Jean-Claude Van Damme and resurrected the career of Charles Bronson. But in the presence of these mostly awful films were some amazing soundtracks from up and comers like Alan Silvestri and Jay Chattaway and legendary composers like Goldsmith and Mancini.

I’ve complied some of my favorites in the guise of a cheesy 80s LP called Cannonball Express (yes, an inspired name choice!) from the Ronco Record label. I’ve included hi-res reproductions of my imagined 2 Lp set replete with torn edges, faded price tags, typos etc. The tracks are lossless but I did source the trailers from youtube so they may be lossy.
