Yes. To get him in your party, you have to buy a bottle of prozac from a hidden merchant on Mt. Gagazet, then use it on him when he appears to fight you at the top. After the fight, he’ll come and meet with you outside Zanarkand. Rikku will cut his hair and Wakka will give him another hand-me-down weapon.
