I bought a CD by an artist I knew absolutely nothing about in 1998 called Dana Dawson. I had never heard about her, but today she’s one of my favorite singers.
Have you ever bought a CD by someone you knew absolutely nothing about? And are you still istening to them today?

I guess Iced Earth counts. I heard like one or two songs before I decided to buy a cd by them. I had no idea which cd would be the best buy, but I just picked up a random one and it just so happens to be one of my favorite cds ever. The lead singer since then has left from the band and the new singer just doesn’t deliver. I still listen to their old stuff though.
