Thanks to a major retailer near where I live that has a policy of ‘when it comes into the store, it goes onto the shelf’, I’ve been playing Final Fantasy XII for the last few hours, even though it doesn’t officially come out in Australia until tomorrow. I know this is old news for your Americans (and even older news for any Japanese out there), but still, i’m finding it quite exciting.
Unfortunately, I couldn’t find anyone willing to sell me Crackdown. I guess Microsoft has better hired goons than Square Enix does.
Anyway, apart from my ranting, there is a point to this thread: have you ever gotten a game before street date, and how long before?
