I see a lot of posts on here for Soundtracks (scores, Disney, movies, etc) but very little for Broadway soundtracks. I grew up listening to a lot of stuff from the 80s and 90s before I drifted off to pursue other interests, but I thought I’d share each month (or so) some of my favorites from "back in the day", and certainly some of you regulars who are equally inclined might throw in your favorites from earlier periods (or current — Hey! The rules are wide open here)!
I’ll start with a London cast recording of a show that’s had many permutations, so a current cast recording barely sounds like this did from 1986. If interested, you can read up on it here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chess_(musical)
