How many of you have ever played Breath of Fire? IMO this is one of the greatest RPG series. The stories are great, and it gets the plot out without writing a novel. And Ryu’s abillity to turn into a dragon is just too cool.
One of my favorite things to do is to build the village. That is so fun when you want to do something other than fight monsters. And you get things in the village that you can get nowhere else. Anyway, tell me your thoughts on Breath of Fire.

I think the original one was the most memorable for me all the rest just didnt have the same captivating aura.

Greetings.

For me, Breath of Fire II is my favourite, reason being, I still have the original SNES version of it, completed with everything in the game (all of the Shamans and such). Also, I have it in mint condition, Map and Manual, Box (Only a small tear on where I opened it from), and hell, I still have the plastic bag the SNES cartridge’s where in, covering the cartridge. Also, I’ve had two SNES consoles, and a lot of SNES games, which in my stupidity I sold, but now, 2003, I’ve gotten some back, except for one. I never got rid of Breath of Fire II. It’s still got the price tag on it for crying out loud!!

Breath of Fire III and IV were alright, but for me, number two, will still remain my favourite.

I am a big fan of Breath of Fire. In fact, I beat the first one last night for the first time (on emulator). YEA ME! Anyways. . .

Which Breath of Fire game is this? It’s not the original. It’s been quite some time since I’ve played 2, so maybe that’s it(?). Maybe I should go rent the third one, because I’ve never played it.

Who’s played Breath of Fire 3? How good is it?
