Boris/Aranea’s sprite anywhere in X?

I’m sure its been noticed, but nearly every monster in X2, including bosses, are actually the same sprite as in X just with a different name (with several look-alikes with the same design. Like, Paragon used Nemesis’ sprite, and Anything Eater used Earth Eater’s sprite. The two gels are actually the Macalania forest boss and the arena boss. Guardian Beast and Azi Dahaka are Sanctuary Keeper and Thuban. Precepts Guard is Spectral Keeper and Georapella is Geosaegno. Angra Mainyuu was Sinspawn Gui, and Machina Panzer was that huge tank you fight in Macalania lake. While some other ones such as the Daeva/Varuna or the Shellshocker/Neslug had look-alikes in X-2 of other colors that didn’t exist in X, the only actual monster coming to mind that I can’t think of it’s design anywhere in X, even in the arena, are Boris/Aranea. Anyone know if there is a monster/boss with such a sprite in X?

Edit: Forgot about the vermins in the Miihen cave. Are they in X at all?

Boris/Aranea are original concepts specifically made for X-2. So were the Vermins and a few other monsters.

Angra Mainyuu was Sinspawn Gui

I’m not so sure about that. I think Angra Mainyu was original for FFX-2.
