Whatever you might think of the game itself, I for one think they did a pretty good job with the music, which was composed by Mick Kiely (http://www.mickkiely.com/) (reference (http://www.gamershell.com/news_123744.html))… so I’m curious as to whether any of our resident extractors plan on having a go at this. Codemasters, it seems, is still pondering whether or not to spawn an actual soundtrack release.
I’d also taken the liberty of asking Mr. Kiely’s thoughts on the matter; he was gracious enough to respond in decent order:
Thank your for your email. I am delighted to know you are a fan of the Bodycount soundtrack. It would please me no end if Codemasters decide to proceed with a soundtrack release. it has been discussed but unfortunately it is in the hands of the game developers as they now own and control the music in the game.
"Thank you again for your interest and I hope there will be an album before too long. 🙂
This being the case, it cannot hurt for folks interested in such a thing to make Codemasters aware of their existence ([email protected]).
