Okay come on, someone somewhere MUST have a rip or sumthing of the Body Harvest soundtrack? somebody please. Or really good ideas on how to extract them from a N64 ROM?

How To Extract N64 Music: The Quickie Version

1)Find the Music File Format for N64 which is USF.
2)Find Music files for said soundtrack
3)Get WinAmp
4)Find a plug-in for WinAmp that allows you to play USF files
5)Rip at your own leisure.

USF Player Plug-in for WinAmp

Sorry, but couldn’t find the Body Harvest Music files, though.

Ahh, another fellow Mac User! Luckily, I cam across something for us Mac users in Zophar’s Domain…

Look at the very top one called "Audio Overload"

Major Bump. Oh well.

I just found this link to an actual game rip of the BH soundtrack. Hope this helps. I was actually looking for this specific soundtrack myself when I came across this link through an alternative route into the site. The link is still active and the download will take about five minutes to complete on a good connection. Thanks goes to Auumar.

Are you serious, my download is still up there? Hahaha. I was actually going to offer to re-up it when I saw this thread.

I’ve got battle tanx 1 and 2 in mp3 format as well if anyone wants those, too.

I would like the second one, please. I’m trying to get all these 64 games’ soundtracks I’ve played when I was kid. Ah, wonderful memories. I am completely satisfied with the Body Harvest rip btw. Thanks again.

For the record, I didn’t rip these (I don’t know who did actually), I just converted them to mp3 from USF. 🙂 I spent years searching for these. Many long and painful years. I still haven’t found Aero Fighters Assault. :\ one of the last few to knock off my list of exceedingly rare rips. It is my pleasure to make these available.

I would preferably like to post this on GH itself along with the first one and Body Harvest but I don’t know where to submit them.

These are in 128kbps CBR. I might be able to find some time to re-convert to 320kpbs (I don’t know why I didn’t in the first place) if desired.

Let me know if there is any problems.

Since it’s higher quality, it would be preferred. However, if you don’t have the time for it, don’t worry about it. I’m going to download this link, and see how it sounds. Don’t imagine it’ll be too bad.

And there’s really no way to submit music to GH. Just provide the link in the Download Thread section, and Sarah will eventually pick it up.

Edit: The volume’s really low, and it won’t go any higher after a certain point.

Okay. The volume is easy to fix; just give it 100% normalization in audition. I might see if I can reconvert and normalize it for you afterwards, but no promises, I’m pretty busy writing my novel and working on my homeworld 2 mod atm.

That’s cool, whenever you get the chance.

What’s Audition, and can it fix all the songs at once?

Adobe Audition is one of the programs I use for sound editing. It’s pretty much the best sound editor out there.

It can batch convert files and I do believe it can batch normalize as well. Doing it one-by-one doesn’t take too long, though.

I have located the BT:GA usf files and I will process them in the near future for you.

Cool. Once you put Adobe in front of Audition, it hit me. Of course. I have the whole Adobe CS2 Suite, but Audition is not included with it. And I don’t want to download a thirty day demo to use only once. I’ll let you take care of it when you get the chance.
