I’ll just continue with emptying my folder of rare soundtracks… Here’s a forgotten treasure from the Sega Genesis/Megadrive game Body Count. The game itself is a fairly simplistic, Rambo-style, rail shooter, although I have to admit I never completely figured out how to beat the final level properly (the hostages die and it’s game over, basically).
The music was composed by Steve Collett, and has a pretty cool, almost metallish vibe to it. I especially like "Subway", "River Boss" and "Factory", but the main theme and "Mall" are also pretty good. Check it out people (15 tracks, mp3 format):
