Why did Square put in Blitzball? Once you get a few games under your belt the rest is finding good Blitzers. They could have at least made the first battle with the Luca Goers a little bit difficult. They could have swaped Blitzball for a world map mabye. It would add another level of difficulty. Instead of following signs, mabye you could do things for yourself.

I liked Blitzball. It was a pretty neat sidequest for the game. Plus you get some all right prizes for winning.

And for people who do not know how to play Blitzball very well, the first game against the Luca Goers can be very difficult, especially if you do not have Jecht Shot.

I have not played it once by choice, i thinks its a waste of time and i dont enjoy it at all. You said it, I miss the world map too. So far its been the most constricting FF game i played, im starting 9 hopefully today if i have some spare time. Dont get me wrong though, X was a Badass game indeed…

Well I don’t meam to trash FFX, I just think it would be a stronger game if Blitzball was challenging, or if it had a world map.

It is challenging if you don’t read blitzball faqs before playing the game.

I agree with missing world maps and not liking the limitations.

9 is a lot closer to FF7 and 8, FFX changed quite a lot.

I must say, I like Blitzball a lot. I’ve spent several hours playing it. So much, actually, that I’m stuck somewhere in Spira for ages, because I only go to the Save Sphere to play more Blitz…

I spent more time playing Blitz than I should, and I love it.

Who cares if you win 9-0? It’s still winning.

Also, Tidus is very broken, I’ve gotten him up to level 63 while the rest of my players are around 30-40. Jecht Shot just ruins the game’s difficulty.

Blitzball. One of the most challenging thing I have ever played within a Final Fantasy game.

The Dificulty was overwhelming at first, then got easier as I got better players and trained up the ones that I had to start with.
