If someone knows how to do a webrip, there’s a lot of good stuff over at Blake Neely’s website including what appears to be a lot of exclusive material from HBO’s "The Pacific" (57 tracks)! Blake Neely: Projects – The Pacific (2010) (http://www.blakeneely.com/projects/pacific/)

Also he’s got lot’s of tracks from many of his various TV scores. I’m particulary intersted in the work he’s been doing on ABC’s "Pan Am", of which he also shares an exclusive track. Blake Neely: Projects – Pan Am (2011) (http://www.blakeneely.com/projects/panam/)

But there’s a lot of good stuff there waiting to be plucked by those with the know-how and as a certified Blake Neely fan I’d certainly welcome any shares of these kind!

P.S. – The devine Mrs. ‘babydoll’ has provided us some of this promo material already, including "Brothers & Sisters", "Eli Stone", The Mentalist" and "Traveler" as well as a Blake Neely Sampler! But quite a bit of music for additional projects has been added on his site since her original shares of some time ago.

I have the Pan Am track. Almost all of the TV stuff I have or have posted. The film stuff I wasn’t interested in..

Are his tracks from The Pacific not on the official release?

If you download an add-on for Firefox called "Video DownloadHelper" you’ll be able to extract music off of web browser music players like the one used on Blake Neely’s site. The installation doesn’t take very long, and the only trick to get it to work is that you have to hit ‘play’ for the downloader to recognize that there is anything to be downloaded.

People have also said you don’t even need to have this add-on because like a lot of other things, when you hit ‘play’ your computer puts the music in some temporary internet folder–that as far as I know can be somewhat difficult to navigate your way to.

Nope, he recently updated the player with a lot of unreleased stuff from all episodes. Over 2 hours of music.

Just "DownloadHelper" does the job too.

When playing the stream, look for a highlighted bar showing the buffer/cache status. Wait till it’s reached the end of the field. Then do the following:

To get to your temporary Internet folder, in XP, go to Tools, internet Options, go to Browser History and click on Settings. then choose "no" to the compressing option, click on View Files. Drop-down View to view by Type (Easier to search for file, either alphabetical by file format or by default media player’s name)

Then drop down View and click Refresh, and then scroll back to alphabetical ( m for .mp3 or W for Winamp Media File).

Then drag the file to any other place in Explorer, and Voila!

This message will self-destruct in 5 seconds 🙂
