So, let’s talk about one of the greatest (and most underrated games) of our generation; Beyond Good and Evil. I’m not much of a gamer, but this game grabbed me like no other game except for Final Fantasy IX. I mean, playing this game was an entirely different experience, I can’t explain it, but the atmosphere was absolutely bone-chilling. I have yet to come across a game of this quality and atmosphere. I love Final Fantasy IX, but this one comes pretty close. Simply outstanding.

Jade – Pey’J – Double-H

Any thoughts on this magnificent game? 😀

Like most under-the-rader games, this one was a pleasant surprise. The first thing to hit me was the music. Not even 5 minutes into it and I’m already hearing some great tracks. I was put off by the setting at first (talking animals will somehow, always make me laugh) but iI discovered one Hell of a game. They got everything right. Great music, dialogue, characters…

Just too short. Too damn short. And the ending left room for another in the series! Where is number 2 Ubisoft?! 🙁

It was too short, but I always took my time. There was some rumours about a second game, but there’s been no news since 2005.

🙁

I know an awesome game called Beyond Good and Evil. It’s Xenosaga Ep. II xD

The subtitle of Xenosaga Ep. II is Jenseits von Gut und Bose. That’s german for Beyond Good and Evil.

The "xD" because MANY people HATE that particular episode. I quite fancy it.

Episode 2 = Too much Momo. Gawd…"Junior."

I need to check this Beyond Good & Evil game out though. Seems interesting.

Jr. and MOMO make Xenosaga for me, so II is like my favorite Ep. Note that I haven’t played III yet.

III is awesome. Hardly any Momo. Haha I don’t hate her though. I love Jr. , but I don’t like when everybody keeps calling him "Little Master".

You must play III…it’s definitely better in the sense of gameplay compared to II.

II was really challenging. Stringing together immaculate chains to take down the optional bosses was more enjoyable than frustrating, to me.

That kind of makes me sad to know that there’s hardly any MOMO. Let me guess, oodles of KOS-MOS 😡

I like the photography sidequest… it was challenging at times and I found that it gave an incentive to really explore areas.

May, I hated Xenosaga but absolutely loved Xenogears.

BECAUSE I THINK XENOSAGA RUINED EVERYTHING.

Xenogears is right behind VIII for me, Ash. I just happen to love Xenosaga too. I could do w/o the whole swimsuit dynamic, but it is a small pittance.

Xenogears is my bible. A really facked up one.

🙁

getting away from Xeno series and back on topic, I heard that Ubi said they weren’t making another game but it would be so awesome if they did
