Best of the Blue Blur: The Music of Sonic the Hedgehog

Long time no see! I’ve decided to compile what I believe to be the best first, second, third, and fourth generation Sonic game soundtracks available. In addition to staples like the original Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic 2, 3 and Sonic and Knuckles, I’ve also included more obscure soundtracks such as Sonic Chaos and the arcade SegaSonic the Hedgehog. Ideas, suggestions, comments and constructive criticism are welcome, like always. Enjoy and blah-blah-blah.

A. I don’t own the rights to Sonic games, characters, music, etc. Those belong to Sega or whoever. This is a nonprofit endeavor, compiled and shared without earning me a single penny. Respect copyright laws: the least we need now is to be shut down by the government and other busybodies with legitimate claims, or lack thereof.

B. I intend to take it all the way to Sonic Advance, but I can’t hope to include EVERY major game and sidegame released before Sonic Adventure, so please bear with me and don’t be upset if I happen to miss a soundtrack you would’ve wanted.

C. If you think I ought to include any particular Sonic game from before the Playstation era that I might’ve missed, speak up or PM me about it. If you can provide good quality mp3’s or show me where I can find them, that’ll be even better.
