Hi,

I am recently dipping my toes in the word of music streaming.

I listen mostly to soundtracks, videogame music and trailer music.

Since I have an iPhoneX I am trying out Apple Music.

While it is great to be able to add music from the catalogue and complete it with all the trailer music I have and isn’t commercially released things are far from ideal.

There doesn’t seem to be a soundtrack genre section. All my recommended playlists remain other genres. And when I start a radio station like Hans Zimmer or Lorne Balfe half of it isn’t the same style or is just flat out pop or dance. No matter how many times I tell it not to play a song, they keep coming back

Soooo what is the best music streaming services for soundtrack/trailer music lovers out there? (for desktop listening and offline phone listening)

Try Spotify. There’s a "TV & Movies" category. If you pull up Hans Zimmer, the related artists are at least other soundtrack composers, although some of them have different styles. Of course, there are also Amazon Music, Google Play Music, Deezer, etc., but Spotify is my go-to streaming music platform. You may just have to try each of them. They all have either free versions or free trials.
