best FF music

wat is the best ff music/tune any1 welcome to their opinion-onion

This is not so hard for me actually… The Extreme. But if you asked about first five melodyes I’d get totally ”how can I deciiiiiiide!!”

The best FF music from one game would have to be FF Tactics.

But I just recently started an obsession with FFIV’s Troian Beauty. I love that track, especially on the Celtic Album.

Overall I would have to say FF9. Just had some brilliant music in it. "You’re not Alone" and "Attack for the Silver Dragons" spring to mind.

I’d have to agree that FFIX has one of the best soundtracks with great tunes from Kuja’s Theme, to Vamo’alla Flamenco and the different themes you can get from the Black Mage Villiage.

I’m a big fan of ff music and Uematsu’s compositions. Though I’d only rank Uematsu 3rd next to Mitsuda (ChronoTrigger/Cross) and Sakimoto (FFXII, Tactics, Vagrant Story) respectively.

I’d have to agree that the best ff music is in Tactics, the music is basically half of the reason why I love the game so much.

For the series, however…there’s too many good ones…so I’ll select my fav ones from 1-6 for now…I’ll post 7-12 later

For me, it’s FF7’s Boss Theme.

I personally love Aeris’ Theme. I know… FF VII fanboy. It is just an amazing piece of music.

This title is only the part that Maria sings alone about halfway through the Opera scene.

The Opera scene is actually seperated into 4 parts, which are Overture, Aria di Mezzo Carattere,The Wedding Waltz ~Duel and Grand Finale.

All of which are included in the orchestral albums "More Friends – Music from Final Fantasy" (in english, no less) and "Tour De Japon – Music From Final Fantasy". And There’s also a version of it on the latest album from The Black Mages, titled Darkness and Starlight.

Maybe because it’s the game that made me a fan, but I think Final Fantasy IV had the best soundtrack that stands out above the rest. In fact all of the 16-bit soundtracks are superior to the other games in the series to me.

Which is an amazing version btw- it succesfully blends opera, rock, and metal with finesse. Unlike anything you’ve ever heard before, most definitely the black mages’ best work to date.

And dragonsoul, mitsuda is amazing and "corridors of time" is also one of my all time favs from him. Have you tried listening to the remix of that song by mv? 😉
