Battle of the Bulge (1965). OST, not re-recording.
Composer: Benjamin Frankel
Soundtrack Listeners Club SLCS 1014 (released in 1996). Not the later Perseverance label 2012 release.
Country: Japan
Track listing
1. Prelude (02:57)
2. Kiley’s Plane Chases Hessler’s Car (03:34)
3. Panzerlied (The Tankmen’s Song) (02:22)
4. Interlude with a Courtesan 1st Class (02:51)
5. The German Tanks Emerge and Break Through (07:22)
6. 1st Tank Battle (08:54)
7. The Massacre of the American Prisoners (03:10)
8. The Attack on the Fuel Depot Fails and Hessler is Killed (06:38)
9. The Panzermen Abandon their Tanks: Victory and Postlude (02:13)
Total Duration: 40:26
The original LP was reissued on CD (inexpensive, but limited quantity) by Perseverance Records in 2012. Seems like it should be identical or better than this issue, but someone said they thought they heard a tiny bit of distortion somewhere. Here’s the first CD release from Jolly old Japan (with the inserts misspelling on track 2), perhaps someone can do a thorough comparison.
Rep left!
I thought some music would be nice and here is this great thread.
TY!!
Please, can you send me the links ?
Thank You very much
