battle areana

hi Im looking for advice on how to get omnislash on disc one at the battle arena as in how much gp i should get and what items and materia are best.
Just to say i have only just got cid but i have my team all around level 50 with cloud at 53 and then i have great gospel and cosmo memory and everyone else on second lvl3 limits with most materia nearly mastered and 2 enemy skills with all that they can have at this point.

also can you buy gp from the random guy at this point as i cant find him

Yes you can buy GP off that random guy but i think he only appears every 30th time you come up the elevator.

If you make sure you win the 8th fight in battle arena but with loadsa handicaps you should get between 10-13k BP, so do the maths. Protect against as many status effects as you can (added effect transorm on your armor, acc etc) make sure you got lots of x potions and items that attack all enemies and in the last few rounds make sure you get as much of your materia broken as poss, get your mp halved or zero’d, go down levels etc and just keep throwing items at the enemies or physically batter the shit outta them. thats just what i do, im sure theres plenty of guides online.

If omnislash is 64kbp (i cant remember), take in 100GP, thats 10 goes at battle arena, you only gotta get 6400bp a turn, not difficult if cloud is as good as you say. But check the above figures, there just demonstrative of how easy it really is to work this stuff out.

Thanks for that i was wondering how much bp you can get for finishing 8 rounds but if it is as much as that then it shouldnt be too bad. oh and i got cid at 35 hrs mostly because i wanted to get everyones limit breaks high early on.

Cheers but please remember you have to have LOTS OF HANDICAPS, if you breeze through it gives you next to nothing! (i think i got 600 bp for winning once).
