This was and still is a great series of games. Best Batman games ever. They’re releasing remastered editions of Asylum & City. Not sure why Origins isn’t getting a remaster. I know it wasn’t as great as the problems with the game are well documented. But it is part of the series and perhaps remastering it would have given them a chance to fix those issues. Anyway, can’t wait to check out the remasters.

Also for PS4, Arkham VR is coming out. I do have a few questions regarding this game. Is the story in the game original? I assume based on its title, Arkham that it is set in the Arkham universe. Also why is this a PS exclusive? Kinda a slap in the face to Xbox owners who apparently feel snubbed and rightfully so as they’re left out. Doesn’t Xbox have a VR? Isn’t that Oculous device a VR headset for Xbox?

Origins wasn’t developed by Rocksteady.

True. But there’s always hope i could get a remaster in the future. It’s part of the Arkham world. I won’t whine and cry over it not being remastered and if it remains that way. But be nice if it did….someday.

I want to buy the newest one. The one that took a year to hit PC.
But I really want to see it go cheaper than it is.

I’ve read a lot of issues with the PC version which is why I decided against it. I think they even pulled it. Not sure if they’re making anymore or not.

My computer can run Arkham Asylum fine on lowest settings, so I wouldn’t even dare download it.

Arkham Knight has been (mostly) fixed for PC. It’s back on Steam again.
But there’s still going to be issues here and there.

Also this news just came out:

‘Batman: Return to Arkham’ delayed indefinitely
http://batman-news.com/2016/06/28/batman-return-to-arkham-delayed-indefinitely/

After reviewing the progress of the project, the team at WB Games has decided to delay the release of Batman: Return to Arkham to give the team at Virtuous Games additional time to deliver a polished Batman Arkham game experience. We do not have a release date yet and will be sure to communicate that once we are sure the game will be ready. We know this is disappointing news, but we feel the extra time will allow the team to create the best gaming experience for our fans.

"Indefinitely" just means no scheduled date.

After the epic fail with Arkham Knight, they want a smoother initial release for the next Arkham game.
It seems their development goal is to largely make it more compatible for console than PC.

Oh ok I didn’t know that. Not really a PC gamer. The news I got about that was from IGN.

Yes I read about the indefinite delay. That gives them more time to ensure there’s no issues so as long as the longer wait results in that, I’m good.

Next Arkham game? That’s news to me. I thought Knight was the end of it. I figured their next DC game would be centered on the rumored Superman game. I’d like them to do a Batman/Superman game. No ties to the movie although I’d love if Ben Affleck could voice him, not for the main Batman as that should be Kevin Conroy, but if a DLC of Affleck’s Batsuit and whatnot was released, Ben would be perfect to reprise the voice for that. Or even a Justice League game which should be co-op.

This should’ve been posted in the General Gaming subforum, not here…

I will say that the Arkham series is pretty decent (I’m not a Bats fan), but I did like the mechanics and playing through stealth like was fun.

@Darth Raven:

Sorry. You can move it there if you’d like, if you feel it should be there.
