Barhiem Passage Question

I’ve got the key etc and entered Barheim passage, just wandered what level peeps where when they tried this..ALL of My Characters are LVL 31 (levelling them all up same Level at a time).just wandering what level everyone else was, finding it REAL challenging, want to do this sub-quest before I venture into the forest place where I meet Fran’s peeps(that next bit of my main mission)

From my experience, Barheim passage is a GREAT place to level up at the mid-level range (30-50). IIRC, I was probably around lv 35 or so…but anyway, just get some decent weapons (the best you can buy at the shops at that point) and the Disable spell. It’s not easy, but it’s certainly not as hard as the Pharos Subterra, etiher.

Disable is definitely a must-have. The undead ghast-fiends (the ones that can teleport) are weak against disable, and I’m 95% sure the skeletons are, too. Just cast it on everything, then attack. (Except the bombs..they’re neutral, leave them alone.)

(Be careful, at the end of Barheim, there is an Esper…don’t go past the very very last save point.)

Alternatively, you’re probably at a decent level to go to Golmore Jungle. Once you get "Lente’s Tear" you can find a sweet skeleton spawning ground in the Southern region of Golmore.

I first went there below level 30 and got totally dominated by the undeads, but went back somewhere around 35-37 and it was pretty easy then really (although I got a Deathbringer by stealing from the rare mimic that appears in the dead end screen of the hidden area before I went too which has an attack power of 90 (if you don’t have that yet it’s well worth getting). Just make sure you don’t have everyone at level 41 or 43 when you reach the esper and you shouldn’t really struggle with that either (I was 38-39 when I fought it and it wasn’t too hard at all).
