I’m a huge Jason Bateman fan. Arrested Development put him back on the map and I am pleased with how his career has taken off over the last 15 years.

This movie is HYSTERICAL! First off, Bateman has a FOUL mouth…it reminds me a lot of Bad Santa lol. A grown adult entering a national children’s spelling bee via loophole is a crazy premise.

I enjoyed that there actually was a method to his madness as it provided the film with a satisfying end. Kathryn Hahn…what a funny woman! I love her and Bateman together here.

You should give this a watch if you’re wanting a laugh. Then go watch Bateman in OZARK on Netflix. OMG!

Rolfe Kent provides the fun score here. He adds to the charm of the characters where there should be none. Parts of this score reminds me of his Thank You For Smoking score. Good stuff!
