I know that Varese Sarabande released an album containing music of the trilogy (here (https://www.soundtrack.net/album/the-back-to-the-future-trilogy/)) but that appears to be a re-recording. So, as far as I can tell, this album containing bits of the original score should be still permitted in the forum.

Awesome, I had this on cassette tape! Potentially still in my parent’s attic.

I know that Varese Sarabande released an album containing music of the trilogy (here (https://www.soundtrack.net/album/the-back-to-the-future-trilogy/)) but that appears to be a re-recording. I said that, as far as I know, this album should still be allowed, not the contrary 🙂

The thing is that some films have multiple score and soundtrack releases by multiple record companies. In the case of Back to the Future, Varese Sarabande released a re-recording of music from the whole trilogy. But just because it’s a re-recording and not the original score recordings, this album is fine.
