Just wondering, why is it Japan gets a 30th track, and we don’t?

Instead, I’d ask: what relevance does that song have to the film? Does it feature anywhere on it, or is it simply tied to marketing materials there (a music video "inspired by" the film, perhaps)?

Unfortunately, I have to agree. The song may be okay-ish on its own, but that trailer is incredibly misguided for an Avengers film. They tried to make a bigger deal of the family aspect of the film (which I understand is the usual approach in Japan) that doesn’t really fit with the main story in the film. They even spoiled the whole Hawkeye subplot (which their Hawkeye poster already hinted at a few weeks ago) which was supposed to be a "surprise" and all. I’m not sure if the japanese audience is used to this sort of thing, but if that trailer had been launched elsewhere, people would’ve started calling it out for "false advertising" or something.
