Demon (or: Gold Told Me To) was scored by Cordell after Mikl�s R�zsa had politely declined (R�zsa: "God told me not to").

Thanks a lot! I luuuuv "God Told Me To"; a great movie.

Thanks Wimpel for this. Now had a chance to to listen. Beautiful scores of excellent quality and no crackling noise from the vinyl. Ring of Bright Water is classical in style. Demon is dramatic with organ and severe strings in the style of Bernard Herrmann, to whom the film is dedicated - Herrmann was first choice of composer before R�zsa and would have scored had he not popped his clogs before filming.

If ever there was a double bill at the movies that should have happened it is this - a friendly otter and some religious ritual killings.

What's wrong with this forum? For the past 24 hours I get "Not found" and "500 Internal Server Error" messages all the time!
