Hi; today I found a video on YouTube containing music that I'd like to add to my Best of the Caped Crusader set; it consists of the entire soundtrack of Batman The Movie for the PC Engine/Turbografx 16 version (1990), compressed into a medley lasting 17 minutes and 45 secs. Now, the sound quality seems to be adequate enough to warrant becoming part of my set, but I don't want to include a seventeen minute-long file into discs that're already running pretty long as it is, so I was wondering whether you guys could help me find a program that somehow can split this medley into all its separate songs, each lasting the exact time it takes for them to play and fade out in the original medley (needless to say, proper fadeouts are also a must). I managed to convert the video into mp3, but for the moment can do no more than that; any help will be greatly appreciated.

P.S.: Just in case anyone's interested, here's the video I'm referring to.

Upload your mp3 (to Megaupload or Mediafire) and I'll separate the tracks and do fadeout effects.

There was no need to fade out two jingles and ending track. The rest is processed :D
Too many loops removed also...

Thanks a mil, cooljacker! Just faved your post; I tested the mp3's you submitted and they're fantastic: awesome quality, crisp sound and reasonable time. Any defects (if any) ought to be chalked up to the original source or minor lapses during the process, but nothing too big or intolerable. Thanks again: I'm in your debt. Any particular requests of your own?

P.S.: BTW, what program did you use to split, cut and clean up the original file? Just give a name and some brief instructions for future reference: if possible, I'd like to learn to do this myself so I don't have to keep bothering you guys.

Thanks, I'm glad you like it! I can assure you that no additional errors were made, so existing ones really are from the source and that can't be helped...
I'm used to Adobe Audition 3 (or Audacity, alternative) for any sound file manipulation. For this particular case, you open the file, select a range you want to cut/copy (of course listen first so you don't make a mistake), save the selection as a new track (and save it as .wav so you can later convert it to any other codec you may find suitable), repeat for all tracks, and then open one of the (newly separated) tracks, select usually 10-12 ending seconds, choose Effects/Amplitude and compression/Amplify-Fade (process)/Fade out, apply, then save it as an mp3. Repeat.... All of this is faster if you use markers and batch commands, but that's not so easy for beginners (even though you can learn it pretty quick). Adobe Audition isn't free, but I'll send you a pm later, to get it ahem...in other way.

And thank you for your offer, I don't have any requests at the moment :D

If you do need help again, don't hesitate to ask.
