And spectrum for aac files are very similar to flac, you can't recognize artifacts easily like you can with mp3.

This is part of the original m4a. It looks like flac, but it's not lossless.

Valkyrie's right. Qobuz sells a lot of lossless versions of game scores that are only available in lossy elsewhere (such as E.A.R.S., Ubisoft, Sumthing Else releases).

The spectrals are so similar that there probably isn't much audible difference.

Wherever this comes from, it seems to look authentic lossless to me. I know the iTunes version (as I uploaded it myself some days ago) and even though some iTunes spectrals do look this great, AC: Revelations is an exception. Thanks a lot ValkyrieMusic for providing this score!

I say because these is some contention as to whether this soundtrack was actually ever released on a physical CD.

A bonus dvd with 14 tracks exists in lossless but that is not the full soundtrack, but it's a good start though.

awesome. Love the AC soundtracks. One question since I haven't listened all the way through the whole album yet: Is the cue that plays when you sync a viewpoint/tower in there somewhere? I always love those short little viewpoint cues in the games, but it seems like they don't make it into the soundtrack releases (possibly because they're much shorter in comparison to a standard piece of bgm)

Check my compilations of unreleased music from the Assassin's Creed games. These compilations consist of tracks, that are not included into the official albums, but these are not just music pieces, as they are on the gamerips (cuts and samples without beginning and end), but complete tracks, compiled from music cuts and samples from the gamerips. I made these as comtinuations to the official albums, so they could be listened togather with the albums, as one complete and full soundtrack for the game. And there is realy a lot of good stuff there. Hope, you will like it)
