I was wondering if its worth it or not.

Ages ago,i played everquest.I used to lose my temper in forums,because i was baited.I shouldn't have allowed myself to be baited.

By doing so,i opened a can of proverbial worms so to speak,and i just ended up entertaining them,and causing more drama.

I know from personal experience,that it is very hard to change a person's stubborn nature.
I tried desperately to negotiate with an ff7 fanboy,because he was trolling someone who criticized it.The whole event solved nothing as he remained the same.Its not the first time i try to negotiate with this person,as the first time resulted in a failure to convince the stubborn person of him hurting the game he loves so much.

Anyways:This is really why i don't play mmorgps anymore:I can't stand dealing with kids.I got a low tolerance for people who out of their way to be annoying and ruin the gaming experience.I dealt with wow for some time,and people seemed better than on everquest.I even got tired of runescape.

Unfortunately with MMORPG's, you will encounter immature twits, whiny emo noobs and complete dickwads in every one. I've played a few MMORPG's over the years, mainly FFXI since '06 to August this year (Had to leave the game, due to SE screwing up with the payment option... after TEN YEARS!!!) and I encountered many idiots (I use that word lightly as their is no word in the English language to describe how idiotic some of the 'gamers' are in that game).

Only thing I can say... use whatever 'ignore' function the game you're playing has, and use it's blacklist function to remove said idiots from bothering you. Don't let those schmucks ruin your fun... especially if it's a paid MMORPG, then you have every right to do what you can to ensure your gaming remains idiot free...

I've never left an MMO because of the community or something stupid I've done. Usually because it's really easy to ignore annoying parts of the community and because I'm not aware something I've done is stupid until a good while later.

There was harassment in one of the forums i was part of,and harassment in the actual in game.

I was getting angry,because during the time of plane of power in everquest,it was new and i hadn't got the expansion till late.
All that time,i was leveling in pre pop areas,When i finally did,i once was trying to kite at the graveyard not knowing the dangers.I got called:Noob idiot etc etc.I hadn't been to the area before,so my thought was:Come on,give me break.

Between that time and the time i left finally getting sick of these people,some on the forum antonius bayle forum were planting false rumors about me to make sure i don't get groups.I would get rumors like:You were ksing and ninja looting everybody,which was a lie.
I got so frustrated and bored in the end,that i ended up giving in to that rumor and left,because i knew that i was becoming sour from the bad experience i had.The people in other games were bad,but never so bad as the people on antonius bayle.
Even runescape kids don't compare to how bad the people were in ab.

I was sick of people ninja looting and stealing items in this game
I was sick of greedy leaders allowing whoever they wanted get an item to sell it,forcing the other players to roll for items they don't need,because the jackass people roll for items they don't need.
I was sick of elitist pricks who act like they know everything and can do anything,when in truth:They can't.Pulling as a bard is a difficult thing,and knowing the area is required as much as knowing your skill to make a pull.

I agree pretty much 100% with this.

But you'll get idiots in any community, not just MMOs.

But along with the idiots, you do get to meet some really nice and genuine people. And I prefer to remember those.

The worse part:Is sometimes these people are supposedly adults.

I've seen supposedly adult people who are supposed to be 20-30,who act like 12 year olds.
I've said a lot of times:What are you,12?

I mean:What kind of idiot goes around lying about people,because they may not just outright like that person? Thats just flat out making trouble for yourself.

Its for this reason i don't play mmorpgs,and i doubt i'l ever get into an mmorpg ever again,because some asshole always ruins the experience for me.If you aren't going to just play the game and enjoy it,and let everyone else enjoy it with you,then get the hell off.

If i accidentally pull something and get myself and other killed,then shut the fuck up.

Just cant get into the game system.

As SE has finally decided to announce that soon they'll put a direct payment in place for FFXI, I can say I'll soon be back in Vana'diel... hopefully before the end of the year/early next year.

I had a nostalgic feeling on Ragnarok Online about few weeks ago, I tried going back there, but when I clicked on the download button, i was like nah...XD

Warhammer Online. Really shitty game. It's just too bad because the IP is so awesome :(

Today i tried to reason with players on a byond game called:Dragon warrior shadows of edrick.

The more i tried to reason,the more annoying they became,insisting on ignoring my plea for them to get their act together.
The more they acted juvenile,even when one guy claims to be 25,but acts like a 10 year old,the more i felt like going to his house ringing his fucking bell and bashing his head in with a motherfucking tire iron.

You ever get that? You try to reason with people,and they are so stupid that they are incapable of learning a lesson until you fucking smash their faces in? Well this is the infuriating experience i had.At first,you take a deep breath and try to reason with them,but as time goes on,you realize that its pointless because they are too stupid to be reasoned with,and you start wishing you could remove them from the gene pool.

When I started out gaming on MMORPGs I started out with DAOC, the out of the blue everybody dipped and went to WOW. When I started my WOW account at first it was okay but upon firther playing I discovered that the pvp royally SUCKED!
After a few months of that BS I quit it all.
I've been recently speculating on whether to go back to DAOC. Those keep takes were the best!!
