For those who played the series Dynasty Warriors, or know about the past of the Three Kingdoms in China, which warrior is your favourite?

I personally like Zhou Yu, I dunno why but he's just cool(Dam Guan Yu!!!).Then comes Gan Ning.

My fave...would probably be Xiahou Dun. I read the book. The guy is cool because he is the type of person who respects elders and stuff. When he was hit with an arrow, he pulled out the arrow and as a sign of how noble he was, he ate his own eye from the arrow. Sick but still somewhat cool.

Personally I like Zhang He, not because I'm 'that way' or anything, but because in the game he has some of the best moves and in r/l he was one of the main generals.

I also like Wei Yan r/l characters. During the end of the Three Kingdoms he was the strongest officer, but because he wasn't smart enough to understand politics he was a barbarian so Zhuge Liang had him executed since he couldn't trust him.

I'd really like to see Cao Pi as a playable character in the DW series. He deserves some sort of recognition, being the son of Cao Cao and the husband of Zhen Ji.

I wish I knew about this Character Sun Ce, and if anybody knows anything I would like to know. Oh yeah Sun Ce, Lu Bu, and Xiahou Dun.

Zhou Yun is my favorite character in the series, simply because he was the first person I played as when I got DW2 and I remember getting over 800 kills with him in one stage and just thinking "Whoa"

This is a great game, many hours of endless fun just hacking and slashing.

My fave characters are Zhao Yun, Jiange Wei, Zhou Yu and Sun Ce.

I know there was a website upon the history of the Three Kingdoms somewhere. If I ever find it again I'll post it here.

I like Zhou Tai. He's got the "General Killer" Mesuo. He's the silent bad-ass type. And he's got the coolest swords and outfits. And I like Lu Pu(Lu Bu). He was fast, powerful, Mongolian, and psycotic. Another favorite, at least he was in DW3, was Kuan Yu(Guan Yu). In DW3 Kuan Yu was one of my best ones.

Lu Pu and Kuan Yu were the real Chinese names of Lu Bu and Guan Yu. The books were actully translated into English.

Cao Pi was more of a poet than a fighter, they have him as a sword user in the game but he really wasn't. So if he did become a character he'd probably be another fan user. Cao Hong is a much better choice for the next character, or Pang De. That's for Wei anywei.

In the next one, they should also give the characters the real Chinese names too. If you wanna know some of the actual names, find the anime "Great Conquest: The Romance of the Three Kingdoms." They didn't have Sun Jian in the movie, but it was pretty good. It didn't look like typical anime either.

Dynasty warriors is a good game for the most part... ive played it so much its kinda boring except on very hard mode which is very hard to beat damnit anyway my favorite characters are Xiahou Dun and Lu Bu
