Here is the album Passion, a soundtrack based on the music composed by Peter Gabriel for the Scorsese movie The Last Temptation of Christ. Most of the music recorded for this album appears differently in the film. The reason was that Gabriel took the music from the movie and expanded purposely as a stand-alone album, long after the movie release.
The music is a set of instrumental pieces of immense emotional breadth and scope blending African and Middle Eastern sonorities with the more conventional Western sounds, held together by keyboards and electronic drum parts.
The second album Passion Sources is not a soundtrack for the movie but actually a selection of locale traditional music, that inspired Peter Gabriel when he wrote the score for The Last Temptation of Christ. Also some of this music appears in the movie.
