In my own opinion, the work done by Brian Tyler for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 isn't great as what Hans Zimmer and Lorne Balfe had done for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2,sorry to admit this, but believe me,it is true......

Wait till we get a full score, I'm sure it will be decent!

I think it sounds just fine, not as good as MW2 but still good. More cinematic, I would say, with the heavier use of symphonic orchestra than in previous one. But, yes, let's wait until the full release.

The more I listen to the menu theme that was posted, the more I start to like it. It won't surpass the MW2 one in terms of epic scale, but it'll keep playing for e few months here

Hmm, it's okay, won't really know if I like it till the full thing gets released. But I gotta say "Deadline" from MW2 is still my favourite track, well not so much the soundtrack version but rather the ripped versions (especially the one where the tempo is increased).

The ripped versions are indeed better, especially the DC_Whitehouse one, holy damn, one awesome piece of music that is

I saw it on Youtube, its pretty harsh. But I really like the touch of the "...The attacks were triggered across Europe.." news report. It felt "real" in a way. (As I watch alot of UK television)

I was recently converted to the church of Brian Tyler when I first encountered BATTLE: LOS ANGELES, and Tyler's take on the soldier's plight vs overall Americana. Brilliant. I watched some multiplayer gameplay videos and got goosebumps hearing a piece of music featuring a falsetto choral harmony in one note. Wow!

To be honest, I really wasn't blown away by the scores for the previous Modern Warfares. They were alright, but the scores seemed so unmemorable. Hearing Tyler's samples, I kind of feel this surpasses the previous games' score. It feels like it has more weight to it. I'm actually surprised Tyler wasn't asked to do this earlier.

This is such a huge downgrade from MW2 OST.

They should hired Hans Zimmer for MW3 again...

Don't compare full orchertral score with synthetic sh*t that Zimmer, Balfe, Mancina, Orvansson and other minions copy-pasted on computers from their sample base.

Does someone have the OST already? I can't wait for it, and with my copy still in the mail, it could hold my mind of the game for the time being ;)

Can't get over those samples. Really looking forward to this one. I definitely wouldn't go as far as to say Brian Tyler was a downgrade from Hans Zimmer/the rest of RCP by any means, nor would I make prejudgments about how this one will sound compared to MW2... hopefully Amazon MP3 purchases go live before I have to get to bed tonight. To be honest, I'm almost more excited about the MW3 soundtrack release than the actual game itself :P

Great couple months coming up, though. I'm hoping the Halo CE Anniversary soundtrack does justice to Martin O'Donnell's original material later this month, and Sherlock in December should provide our Zimmer fill.

For me, this November is awesome, since we get MW3, NFS THe run, Assassin's Creed and of course Skyrim. 4 scores, 4 games in such a short period of time. Oh, and theres also Immortals by Trevor Morris

Being a huge fan of Hans Zimmer's works myself, I can only say good things about the score I heard in the game.

If I were to hire one composer coming from somewhere outside RCP and still able to create a good action score for such a video game, it was Brian Tyler. IMO, Tyler got the job done and it matches very well the level of excellency in Battle: Los Angeles.

Yep. I love HZ and lorne balfe, but brian tyler is also my fav outside of RCP
