Greetings.

Well, I just got this game....AGAIN! (My previous copy got damaged, and I couldn't find another copy for over eight months.)

Now, the graphics of this game are impressive. 3D photo-realistic vehicles and environments. I mean, after each campaign mission, you have an option to replay the mission, as a mini movie of sorts. To me, the replay movie has a feel to it, eerily similar to CNN war broadcasts. When you fire a missile, there's the typical smoke trail, and the graphics flow smoothly.

Sound wise, the music suits this game well. While it's not in the same league as the atmospheric Castlevania : Symphony of the Night, or the unique sound of Final Fantasy, the music sets the pace, and adds more realism to the game.

Gameplay and everything for this game is alright. My only gripe is with the controls, which can get annoying, but you get used to it.

Add in over 20 missions, and mulitple attack vehicles, and you've got one hell of a game.

So....What do you think of it?

Greetings.

Well, on the back of the cover it reads :

DATELINE 2050 : A world in turmoil where a sinister force threatens its very existence and only two outcomes are possible : Global Peace or Global Tyranny. As a new recruit to the United Peace Force Dropship squadron, your mission id to wipe out flashpoints across the globe, in an epic blockbuster that will determine the world's fate.

The game is full 3D graphics, and the only other types of game I can compare it to are air combat simulator type games. The missions in it are very challenging, yet when you finish the mission and play the replay feature, you get to sit back and watch your superb victory.

If you can find it, get it as it's a good game. Green Arrow, I notice that your location is in Australia. The only thing I can suggest is to check out your nearest Toys R Us store. In Western Australia, those stores are selling the game for $30 AUS. Not bad for a good PS2 game.
