Welcome to the second installment of the Star Wars Soundtracks DTS release. This is a Fan Project and not an official release and all material used in this project is copyright to Lucasfilm. I wanted to make a great sound and visual experience with the music from Star Wars, as we can all agree it is one of the best compilations of music that tell a story all on its own. What better way to do it than combine the concept artwork of the artists that worked on the prequel trilogy including Doug Chiang, Ryan Church, Erik Tiemans, Ian McCAIG, Warren FU, Aaron McBride and Benoit Pelchat with the moving cues of John Williams Star Wars Score. A special thanks to the aforementioned artists and to George Lucas for the epic Star Wars story.

A special thanks to the crew at surroundbyus.com who designed the software that allowed the conversion from stereo to surround of the original source being the original soundtracks. To find out more please visit their website.

Please let me know what you think of this release and enjoy. May the force be with you!

Well... after spending a large part of the last week and downloading 4 GB of file (96.5%), this torrent seems to have dissappeared ?.

Not really impressed.

Disappeared? Nope. I just downloaded the torrent file to test what you said, and there it is, with 3 Seeders and 4 Peers, going pretty strong.
Maybe you need to re-load the torrent and re-check the files. But the torrent is definitely there and working.

Thanks for that... I had to delete the torrent, and re-download..... It's estimating around 300 hours of download to go.

I really hope this is worth the effort.

Wait, did you throw away the 4 GBs you had already downloaded? Because you can have the bittorrent client re-check the incomplete files and continue where it left off, even if you delete the torrent and add it again.

I hope you didn't delete the 4 GBs. If you don't know how to do that re-check thing, throw me a PM and I'll explain, it's very simple.

My utorrent is telling me this will be done in about 5 hours. If people want, and the OP doesn't mind, I can post the separate volumes on MU.

Yes I did throw it away... It wouldn't let me re-start the download as it said it couldn't find the target file.

And it wouldn't let me load a new torrent as it said it was already there.

I've tried the re-check thing before for torrents that are partly downloaded and then spend months going nowhere. But it doesn't seem to accomplish anything.

Yeah, you could tell the program manually where to find the file directory it should use. Using utorrent?

Folx. I downloaded it some time back as an alternative to Jdownloader, and only really stumbled on using torrents.

Some seem lightning fast, and others are incredibly slow.

That is strange because I've never had a problem with re-checking torrents, even after I get an old hard drive and want to seed something again. Maybe some step of the way is not being done properly.

Ah, I don't have a Mac, so I use utorrent, but if you delete a torrent (but keep the incomplete data) and then re-add the torrent again, you need to point the download folder to the one where the incomplete files are, and then force-re-check. That's what I do and it works everytime. Hope this helps in the future.

Oh, I just saw what Folx is, and it seems like it's definitely not the best choice to download torrents with. You're better off getting a proper torrent client.

My download is now done and I'll start seeding. Going to give it a listen, Thanks billbyboy35 !

Very interesting creation here. They're ISO DVD files, and inside each disc is a series of videos with the score playing over images of concept art stills from the movies. The choice of concept art being used usually has to do with the part of the movie the music track relates to, so it's always in context.
There is a description of which music track we're listening to in Star Wars font on the top of the concept art painting at each moment. The music tracks, as far as I can tell are complete, and it's definitely a new experience for me. I don't have a 5.1 system, so I can't judge the surround effect, but my DVD player read the burned discs without problems and they're definitely a different way to add visuals to music. I enjoyed it.

Thx for the feedback frater_mavros, glad you enjoyed it! If you get a DTS system up and running it sounds even better, as it has been mixed into 5.1 separate channels using some good software which splits the stereo sound-field into a 360 degree listening environment. Check out the original trilogy version below, it has a few more seeds as it has been up for about 6 months now.

bishtyboshty, sorry about the download, that would be annoying! As frater said you just need the better torrent program. I use Azureus, a custom version without all the vuze video stuff, let me know if you want it and i'll upload the program. Hope your enjoying the dvd's now though!

I'll be doing the Batman Begins and Dark Knight releases soon so keep a look out!

If anyone wants to up the files to megaupload that would be good, I didn't think they'd work well on there because of their larger size!

I doubt it... the file is 4.3 Gb. Maybe as a newbie you don't realise that would take days of effort, and likely only stay active for a few days. It's just not worth it.

Here is billyboy35's file re-uploaded in a password protected shell...

DepositFiles (http://dfiles.eu/files/vgh0sad26)

Password: Orion999

The file is over 2.2 Gb, and after expansion is over 4.3 GB... so you will need at least 7 GB of free disk space to get this.

Get it while it is available, as once it is gone...

WARNING:
You are advised to use Jdownloader 2 to download the file, as it will ask for a 2nd captha around 1.98 GB. Most browsers cannot handle this, but Jdownloader 2 allows the download to be resumed at this point. I reiterate, you will need to use Jdownloader 2, not Jdownloader.

It can be downloaded from here... http://board.jdownloader.org/showthread.php?t=37365

Or here.... http://jdownloader.org/download/offline

Normally depositfiles won't let you start downloading if you've reached your limit.

Are you trying to "resume", or "reset"ing ?. Once you have started you should always "resume".

Spectre8750

it kept trying to resume. but that's ok, no problem.

I managed using JDownloader2 to get the file. At about 1.5 gigs downloaded it asked for a captcha and then continued till the end. I did get a premium account for a few months for DepositFiles, maybe that's why it was able to download it fairly quickly.

The Depositfiles link for the Original Trilogy is still active, and it downloaded fine (without JDownloader, or a premium account?). Thanks so much for the share, BishtyBoshty - it sounds great!
