I think the track Main Titles from the ost is actually the end title suite, or am I wrong? Perhaps that can be added to end of this one.

Regarding the question about the End Credits=the OST Main Title. I ripped/audio captured the End Credits some time ago, and the total time on my mp3 is 5:09. The Main Title cue from the OST is 4:19. I haven't done a note-by-note comparison yet, so maybe it's just an editing difference. Also, I'm not seeing the OST track 1 on this, Battle Los Angeles Hymn. Again, I just did a quick sampling of the first couple of seconds of each track, and nothing sounded like it started the same as that OST track. So, for the time being, I'm gonna include the Main Title as Track 1 of the set to serve as a "overture" of sorts, the Battle Hymn at the end, followed by my ripped End Credits.

Fantastic to see this surface. Huge Tyler fan and I listen to this score quite regularly. THANKS!!!!

I did not liked this score that much IN the movie, just too distracting and too over the top for what the action really needed, but I always loved it as a standalone. Now that complete score is just the icing on the cake!!! So much better than the regular release which is already awesome.

The alternate is from the album. The other one is the film version, and better one IMO.

I am considering requesting this, but I'm getting bored with Brian Tyler's work for the past five plus years. He did the the score for the TV film Children of Dune and it was a magnificent orchestral powerhouse of a score, taking the elegant romanticism and the ethnic religious eastern sounds and creating a unique whole that frankly is the best that television has ever produced. After 2004 though he has lost the unique style that I loved about his music, and now sounds too generic for comfort.

Everybody does the pm thing differently. I myself prefer a direct pm request, and ignore all requests posted in whichever thread. There are others who want requests posted, and ignore pm. You have to read the OP, and follow the poster's instructions.

beyond that, there is not a clear and easy guide to pm functions and such. Granted, newbs would be well served reading some of the General discussion links, but most don't, nor do they read every post of a thread they are interested in. Most just jump to the end. So in that way, I think Bish is fine. If he wants to keep posting a reminder, then fine for him. If you get...it..already...then just skip over his post. Or, if that is confusing, just add him to your ignore list, and his post will not show.

I listened to the entirety of this about a week ago, and it's average Brian Tyler. It's a good deal better than average action movie music. Listening to the whole thing though was tiring, the moments of calm here and there where the only respite from the barrage of racket. Just dosen't have that spark.. that Children of Dune or Timeline have...

So many freaking complete scores to my favorites movies, jeez it's like Christmas has arrived early!

Piano's instructions are simple... you have to send HIM a PM.

Long-time lurker here, never really felt the need to comment much. But I have to say this was, for some reason, one of the most memorable scores of the year. I think it just has a different sound than most of the scores we got so far this year. Bryan Tyler is hit or miss with me most of the time, but he nailed this one as far as I'm concerned.
