QAR stands for "Queen Anne's Revenge"; it's the name of Blackbeard's ship. Scoreman's demos were 106 tracks long not 106 minutes.

On the other side of things, how many tracks is this comprised of? Once I sorted out all the extra alternates, I figure it's somewhere between 55 and 60 tracks, depending on what cues you decide to group together, like 5m40 or 6m59.

whichever ones segued into another I combined like the battle for the fountain of youth when combined is 9 minutes long. my track list is 46 tracks but everything is there

Just like I held off the 2 other versions of the demos until we got the 3-Disc from Scoreman the other night. their is sfx in two tracks because their is no cues available out there right now the rest is sfx free

I've added an updated battle for the fountain of youth their was a part I took from the dvd but then realize that It was already in there and I added The QAR track since scoreman added that extra track it takes the place of abroad the QAR. I'm currently working on the one cue that I had to take from dvd because their is no demo for it I will update that to when it's finish

Is there a chance you could show which of the multiple take tracks you chose for your mix, since I already have the 3cd demos release. then I will recompile a new mix myself.

Uh, what? Why are people doing DVD rips with SFX? Aren't the demos enough? Don't expect any DVD audio edits from me for this score.

Not to mention: what's with the renamed tracks? There are few reasons to come up with new names; they already had official names. I guess the only reasonable thing to assume would be the fact that some cues get grouped together--but wait! Even multi-part tracks wouldn't need brand new names.

On another note, what's with the "mono version" labels? Are those like the center channel isolated from the end credits?

Dimensioner, sometimes the cue names are different than the "track names" also, sometimes the tracks are named "wrong" for example a track may be called "the death of..." and be for twenty scenes before that scene, or it may be a direct fit, and will spoil the film for some.

Okay, I guess I can I see what you're getting at. Maybe that SFX track list is more accurate. But there is no way he needed to rename every single track there, especially the ones we know for a fact are accurate enough like "Barbossa's Entrance," "Imposter Swordfight," and "Blackbeard's Demise" (tracks 7, 12, and 46 here, respectively, by the looks of it).

Maybe its just style; I don't know.
