I wasn't worried.

Also, this was the first time I saw a syntax error.
What causes it and what does syntax mean?

Same for me. Can't access recent post, I've been reduced to fiddle through the private navigation option of Chrome to access this thread. What the crap is happening ? accessing a thread is like playing russian roulette. I've got this on top of the browser:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /home/forums/public_html/global.php(29) : eval()'d code(3) : eval()'d code on line 1

and that when I try to open something:

Unable to add cookies, header already sent.
File: /home/forums/public_html/global.php(29) : eval()'d code(3) : eval()'d code
Line: 1

I know the admins are probably working on it...but damn that's frustrating.

The forum is basically unusable for me. I can't view threads while logged in. Looks like some file was trimmed (during update?)

EDIT: Is the text too big for anyone else?

The only weird on my end is the text box. Some of the others were having a hard time posting pics but I haven't tried it yet.

The text is gigantic on user profiles.

Also, it looks like they upgraded to vB 4.1.5, so I guess that's where the syntax error came from.

If you remove the tick from the "Retrieve remote file and reference locally" in the add url section, it works.

Ah, VBulletin. Don't you just love it? :p

And things seem to be working fine for me now, so good job to Sarah and TK (or whoever fixed it) for getting onto the problem pretty quickly. :)

Hopefully, the upgrade fixed most of the bugs I have listed here:

It's a new feature in 4.1.5.

It does it over on SEGA, too, since they also upgraded to 4.1.5. for security patches and other things when they were still down.

On a bright note, profile customization works now! :3

Unfortunately, the backgrounds can't be changed.

I want my profile to look like this (http://www.kh-vids.net/member.php?3091-Amaury).

More errors are popping up. =/

The Reply to Thread box is all white, and I can't see any of the tools.

My profile customizations reverted themselves and I got some sort of Java error on my profile.

It said something about my cache being outdated and disabled, so it was running on some sort of Java special mode.

I disabled my cache because Mozilla had problems staying up-to-date with my grade reports for school last school year.

Unfortunately, I can't remember how I did it.

I know I typed "about:" something in the address bar and changed one of the cache things from true to false.

Any ideas, Faus?

Loads of sites use Java, it's a pain.
Check you have the most recent edition.
Or maybe it's a site thing, I dunno. :confused:

No, the cache thing is separate, which I think may be affecting Java.

Threads on the group pages are currently unreadable, unless you highlight everything on the screen. The problem is that the text boxes are now white with off-white text--at least in Timewarp.
