After long wait, many low quality uploads and incomplete versions on the net, here's my expanded, almost complete soundtrack of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic!

There were many reasons as to why I did this, for one many uploads on the net were made from compressed files, others were pure game rips without any work on completing the missing cues or adding missing tracks. Another reason is that I was inspired by ggctuk2005's expanded and complete scores for Force Unleashed games and the Star Wars Prequels.

I've included every single track that was in the game excluding those in bink cinematics, out of those I selected only a few I thought good enough to be on the soundtrack and not utterly cluttered with background SFX. All the memorable and important pieces are here, it's as complete as it can be without asking Jeremy Soule himself to share original cues used in bink cinematics in clean versions.

On a side note I am working on KotOR II expanded soundtrack aswell, however due to the nature of KotOR II having much more of a mess in files, many tracks that weren't used, restoration content to be used and many others it will take me more time than this soundtrack did.

One thing that confuses me in all these soundtracks is the lack of the track played at the very start of the game when you wake up. i think its basically The Sith theme, so no big deal.

Erm, the track that plays when you wake up is exactly part of "The Sith".

I know, Im just saying.

Think nothing of it.

As Andrees states below me there seems to be no basis to the naming scheme other than file names which may be arbitrary and changed by the people who included the files.

That wookieepedia link is as unofficial as this. No real soundtrack was ever released for the game, nor was there any official tracklist. Their names are just as made up as mine.
Not only that, their are incomplete and not in chronological order.

Ah, fantastic! Thank you so much for this! I had some typical low quality version of these soundtracks on my HDD, then it died. Felt sad, here I come to download those versions again, and what do I find? An expanded, good quality soundtrack. What a nice Christmas present!

hmm, i actually find that wookieepedia track listing pretty convincing, as the naming conventions as well as order of tracks fit identically with his arrangements for other games, but i think the fan names do the tracks more justice anyway.

going through the recent TOR music rip I've noticed some of the cues from KOTOR cutscenes are in there in clean form, similar to how about half were in Galaxies' Jump to Lightspeed. I'm willing to bet all of them are in TOR, if you're planning on an effects-free update.

Yes I'm aware that there are some SFX-free cues in TOR, however I'm waiting for a complete hashlist, untill then any work on KoTOR/TOR music from me is postponed.

Hi buddy, I believe the data file is corrupt in the KOTOR 1 links.

On the three of them, when I try to Download and extract, I won't let me do it and stucks in 99%.

I would also be interested in the cutscene music from KotOR1 and TSL without the sound effects.

I was taking a look at the game's music files recently and I was curious if the three fallowing songs ever played anywhere in the game. I don't personally recall them and I even went through an entire walkthrough on youtube to double check and still didn't come across any of them. The songs in question are "mus_bat_out" "mus_bat_valsith" and "mus_theme_carth" which correspond with the tracks listed here as "The Temple" "Uthar Wynn's Trials" and "Captured by the Leviathan" respectively.

Assuming they don't actually play anywhere I can only really make assumptions from the file names. I'd assume that mus_theme_carth was probably originally intended to be Carth's theme, mus_bat_valsith may have been intended to be the Korriban Battle theme as apposed to the reoccurring Sith Battle theme, as for mus_bat_out, it could have been potentially meant for anywhere.
