Ever sit with a friend and discuss damage calculations from a game?

I.E. I have 50 attack and my sword is of 14 strength assume the target is in normal state I will do 700 damage.

Ever debate over which strategy is best?

I like expanding my territory to increase my resources.
Well I like build up my starting resources to the best level and then I expanded.

I could ask hundreds of question each for a specific game or type of game, but the general idea is do spend a lot more time talking about a game then is necessary? How about more time than you should? Have you memorized the game flow for a specific event?

I.E. Battle sequences or what happens to that extra production/research.

*Raises hand
I'm personally quilty of commiting several of these.

I am just as quilty. With RPGs, anyway. Sometimes I even look back on some of my older posts in the gaming sections of this and other forums I visit and see myself as some form of battle strategy FAQ.

Seeing as how I play through many RPGs multiple times, or completely exhaust them in one way or another, I suppose I would pick up certain things that may seem a bit "too much" to others. Anyone who knows me cries whenever anyone brings up Vagrant Story.

Wait, did I just say Vagrant Story?1?!11/1!? X_X

Well then let me tell you about the time I...

Hehehe, guilty, a bit. ;)

I've played enough FF9 to last me and my fiancee a lifetime and a half, and as such, if he ever tries to play FF9, or any FF, actually, we always start mapping out a strategic way to get through the certain parts of the game. Usually FF9 is my forte`, though. He doesn't argue with me on any FF9 points at all. ;)

But I think that's the only game that I ever do that with. Yeah, sadly, I'm a bit obsessed with the game. <_< XD
