Elliot Goldenthal's wild and rambunctious score reflects the man's incredibly intriguing career and style, as well as representative of the (slightly mad) composer himself. A carnival of cacophonous tunes as belted out without any pause for breath over the length of the entire score. Like some crazy metal-infused jazz and swing numbers channelling the roaring '20s? Long for slow contemplative pieces featuring exotic percussion called back the might of Rome? Yearn for the yesteryear of Danny Elfman's turbulent circus atmosphere from his early collaborations with Tim Burton? Think Tyler Bates is a f*&^ing hack and Goldenthal did the title theme first and better? Or just wondering, "What the hell is up with that "Pickled Heads" track?
