where are the best places for levelling up on the world map, i just got the blue narciss and am on about lvl30 which is pretty poor compared to my FFVII game where i was on lvl50 by the start of disc 2!!!

Once you get the Blue Narciss, you get a lot more freedom. My fovorite place to level up is up at Popos Heights, right above Gizamaluke's Grotto. You'll find Grand Dragons up there. You'll get about 8300 EXP per player for each grand dragon and 3 AP.

Grand Dragon tip: Take Quina to the beach on the eastern side of the Lost Continent and let him eat a Whale Zombie to teach him LVL-5 Death magic. That will take out a Grand Dragon in one hit.

Once you get the Hilde Guarde, you can also go to the islands around Daguerreo, which are also infested with Grand Dragons.

Another good place to go is Vile Island, just west of the Outer Continent. You'll encounter high-EXP yeilding creatures called Yans. They're harder to deal with the Grand Dragons, though. I usually use Odin or another quick-death attack to take them out.

On disc 4, Memoria will have a lot of high-EXP yeilding monsters, as well. Just find a place near a save spot and tent yourself regularly.


Those are my favorite spots to level up.
