Well, as everyone knows by now, Sony's offering a total of four free downloads (two PS3 and two PSP) as compensation in addition to the PSN Plus subscription. I'm feeling curious and bored right now and so I ask:

Which games (apparently, up to two for the PSP and up to two for the PS3) will you choose from the Welcome Back pack offering, and why?

I know what I'll be picking tho:

PS3:
- WipEOut HD + Fury Pack. I've had the demo on my PS3 for a good year and always kept holding off getting the unlock key. Looks like it paid off.

PSP:
- LittleBigPlanet. Definitely want this. I have the demo on my PSP and staved off buying the full thing. Looks like I got lucky.
- LocoRoco Midnight Carnival. Same as the above, though I've never thought of buying the full game even though it's fun.

I'm torn between getting Hustle King and The Last Guy for my second game. I kinda like pool, but then everyone I know likes zombie apocalypses. LocoRoco for PS3 looks fun too.

Welp, for the PS3 I'm getting inFAMOUS... and that's it. I already have Dead Nation, LittleBigPlanet, Super Stardust HD and Wipeout HD + Fury. Perhaps I'll just claim a free copy of LBP anyway just to have on my HDD.

As for the PSP, I'm going with ModNation Racers and Killzone Liberation. I also already got LBP and I have no interest in Pursuit Force.

You guys are lucky. I'd love to have LBP PS3 as my second PS3 game, but PSN Asia's WB pack lineup won't be having it.

When I said that I don't know the details I meant that I don't know whether I get 2 games per account. Either way, Japan will take a while to go back up so I'll be grabbing the aforementioned 2.

Probably Ratchet and Clank and Infamous. Everything else doesn't really interest me.

Edit: The US got a slightly different list, so Ratchet and Clank wasn't on ours... I guess just Infamous and maybe Dead Nation then.

on one hand, its about zombies.
on the other hand, looks like zombie apocalypse with a different name. and i hated that one.

Idk. I thought Wipeout was a rather decent racer. But then again, you guys know me... I also thought FFVIII and FFXIII was epic, and that FFIV and FFVII was overrated :P

:P One thing I like about digital downloads is how you don't need the disc to be in the drive when you play. One thing I don't like about digital downloads is how to get them :P - Downloads are slow, and more than often a game may not be available in the region for stupid reasons.

granted, i only played wipeout on the saturn. and i by lap 2 i was bored to tears.
however, reviews of the other games are not favorable.
dont know/care if this one got great reviews. when i hear wipeout, i hear "horrible".

With this 30-day free trial, if I download some of the "free" games such as Sonic the Hedgehog 1 and 2, will those games still work after the PNP subscription ends?

Yeah..., the games expire after the subscription ends, then, the best bet is to try to find a good discount in a thing you want to buy.

This part of the service is annoying, is like a game rental, sincerely the Play Station Plus Service is crap for me, for the 30 days free account get some avatars and themes (the most still crap) and game trials, is barely good; but PAY for this "services"? Naaaaa...
