Usually I don't share any offical release but it is a special case. The score was offically release, but it was finally found illigal and became removed from all the dealer. So it is now a hard to find collector item.

Yes it is the 1989 film...also this is the 11 track version released by Perseverance records which was a limited release.

FSM wasn't the only one who said it was an illegal release so did La-La Land. To simply put it, Perseverance lied about getting the rights to issue the release of this score. There's a whole thread about it on FSM but don't feel like digging it up right now.

You're wrong, Perseverance didn't lie "per se" because they thought the rights were given from the right person but wasn't, Perseverance was following every step they need before the release was finally confirmed but they were deceived. Robin told several times that he trusted the people that gave him the rights but didn't know that he must contact also other company. Perseverance is a serious label and because of this many fans crucified them.

I've been reading some of the argument between Lukas Kendall and Robin Esterhammer at the (argh!) FSM forum. I honestly don't know who's right and wrong. Maybe both of them are. Maybe Mr. Esterhammer should have known better. Maybe Mr. Kendall shouldn't have gone public about this by trying to "burn the witch".

All I know is that Mr. Esterhammer's label is still active today, and Mr. Kendall's label is shutting down soon. And Mr. Esterhammer's label is not forbidden here :)

Here ya go. I didn't get it from this "Official Illigal" release (I can't stop laughing about this, even two years later!) though. It's the 11-cues release, and a damn fine score it is.

Of course, assuming that the original poster, too, meant the Elmer Bernstein score.
