Source I have says it's genuine. As for where to find it, I'm no help there. But it's going on my wish list for sure.

In regards to that list, I found this (Hans-Zimmer.com - Sherlock Holmes (http://www.hans-zimmer.com/index.php?rub=disco&id=913:)) "This "tracklist" just shows which composer did what cue in the movie (it`s from ASCAP). It`s not actual tracklist of any album."

And if you go here: ASCAP ACE - Search (http://www.ascap.com/ace/search.cfm) and search SHERLOCK HOLMES CUES you see all those tracks listed. So it might not be an actual score of any type.

You know that's not an official site, right? They're just keeping track of track lists that surface and keeping the pages as placeholders in the case that the scores ever do surface.

Also, from earlier conversations, I'm fairly certain the first place I saw this track list was under a thread somewhere where a guy was like, "Hey I was just messin' around and decided to BS this track list out of nowhere." ...Unfortunately, I can't find that link anymore to prove it. However, if these titles are documented in ASCAP, then I can't argue with that.

EDIT: I'll leave it here, but it looks like this cue list is not made up. I've been hearing whispers from people about an "expanded" version starting to float around. It's not the complete sessions as listed here, but still, at least it's better than nothing.

Then again, there's a possibility it could be a fake like the "5CD" Inception fan-edit. But who knows.

Now all we need is someone that knows more about it...

If we could only get the HZ version of Johnny Cope from the Dredger fight, then I'd be a happy camper. Don't get me wrong, the other stuff would be fantastic, but that's the only piece from the film I'd kill to have clean.

Oh, and let's not forget A Game of Shadows. If we get another 60%-of-the-album-is-remixed-garbage like On Stranger Tides, or god forbid no score release at all, then I will throw my original Sherlock Holmes CD into oncoming traffic.

Fake? Are you kidding? It's ripped directly from the opening scene. You can hear the hoof prints of the horses on the cobblestone streets. You can hear voices and echoes all throughout it.

Err.....not on the track I kept. I hear no fx. I dl'ed the rip, and got rid of about half. You know how I feel about the fx thing, and I kept this....

Is it possible for someone to master it somehow, to really bring the music up ad push the fx back? I mean, listening to it on headphones I may or may not have heard voices. And the "hoofprints" sound more like a counter beat. Very odd. I thought I herd the chain, but then I didn't. So could the mixing be fiddled with?

babydoll, I can't answer your question, but are you aware that the piece for the opening sequence is on the official release? I guess what I'm saying is, you don't NEED to find some "cleaned up" version... It's Track 7 on the OST, called Marital Sabotage.

How about the other cues then? Some of the unreleased ones...you can't answer babydoll's question because there isn't a way to lower the volume of the voice echoes? That's what plagues any successful DVD rips of this score--the voice echoes!--and I am curious, as well, if anyone has found a way to eliminate this worst enemy of people who have to use DVD audio to make the scores they enjoy more complete. It's highly doubtful that we'll ever get a complete score to this, let alone and expanded score. The only bonus material we got was some unused track available as an iTunes exclusive, and I think the DVD menu might play music not found on the OST.

I have the unused track. The Marriage sabbotage explains a lot, actually. One reason I am curious about audio extraction, aside from this score, is all the talk started up again about that T@ complete supposedly made by extracting audio from dvd sourcs. Those who say they heard it also say is is totally fx free and pristine, and from what I have read about it from y'all, this is unlikely?

Although it's still not the complete film score, but I've discovered a For Your Consideration CD of Sherlock Holmes that I've found on eBay.

I found an FYC promo for Inception floating around on eBay a few weeks ago as well, actually. But like this one it had the same track list as the official OST. It looked pretty nice though, just as a collectors item...there was some reason I didn't bid on it, though...must have been rediculously priced or something. Oh and there was also a really interesting FYC promo for TDK a few years ago...it had OST tracks as well, but they had the official ASCAP cue titles (like the recording sessions).
