Could you suggest a scene from a movie that doesn't have music in it, but might work with music?

I know there's The Birds, but I don't think music would work for that particular scene at all because of what Hitchcock's vision was.

Isn't the light saber battle at the end of Empire left unscored?

Good idea, but I think the problem is that those movies (and scores) are so iconic.

It's not a movie, but "Buffy The Vampire Slayer" has an episode without a single note of score in it.

Season Five's 'The Body'.

It's got quite a few scenes might play differently with score. Mostly melancholy tones but I think there's a short fight scene at the end too.

This is for the FSM Composer's Challenge?

Any silent film.

I could mention the T-Rex attack in Jurassic Park, The extra vehicle activity scenes on 2001, or virtually all of The Day After, but of course, they were never meant to have a score. Most film scenes without music have so because it is felt to be stronger without it. So your at a bit of a disadvantage.
So...

Any silent film. (They all had scores, and some had some pretty good ones, but nobody really knows them.)
