There are many discussions of whether we like or dislike Seymour, but does he make a great crazy enemy? Please let me know. I don't mind him...but judging by the sound of his voice, he sounds homosexual.

I'll give Square credit. While Seymour isn't, as such, a really strong, powerful main villain type character, he certainly managed to get under my skin with everything he did to the point I was shouting abuse at him each time he appeared, and I continued shouting abuse during battles. In fact, I remember cheering at the end of one of the battles.
In that regard, Seymour is a great villain, because he really manages to annoy people. However, he isn't in the vein of the other villains of the series.
i thought they did a good job. the main villian is supposed to be creepy and fuck around with the good guys..... and seymour did that. plus his hair seals the deal. ;)

Although Square made some better enemies (like Sephiroth), they did a good job with Seymour. And as Bahamut ZERO said, he is good enemy cause he annoys people... :) And he tried to marry Yuna for Christ sakes!!! Makes him a pretty bad enemy...

he's the type of character that you hate....hence it makes him a great villian.....
i mean if u had a loveable villian (even to the player) its pointless....so Seymour was pretty aannnoying...(but that's good....)
oh and btw...i'd love to meet the voice actor and give him some testrone.....coz he needs it...

Seymour is a that kind of villian you love to hate but hate to love. He had a very good voice actor plays him. Everytime he talks it basically annoys you...He trys to act good at the first but you can tell this lad was gonna be evil...something about his cold
gaze.

I think he looks too much like Sephiroth, however he was a good enemy, and certainly crazy.

He looks too much like sephiroth, and so did Kuja, and sephiroth looked too much like kefka (final form) in the first place. Square needs some original ideas for villains.
he doesnt looks like sephiroth. notice the hair. plus seymour is half man half guado.... so how can they look alike.
but, lately in the ff games the bad guys sorta have been resembling in structure....

<font face="lucida calligraphy" size="2">He definately got under my skin, that's for sure. He was definately one of those guys I didn't feel much remorse for pounding on...
And blah was he hideous, too.
Not as good as some of the other FF villians, but good nonetheless.

Compare the facial structures and body structures, they've very similar, just details are different (face, hair, etc.).

<sarcasm>your right....... its not like seymour has a vein thing through his face and sephiroth doesnt. and their body structures are obviously the same since Sephiroth's wasn't blocky and shit.</sarcasm>
how can you compare what the 2 looks like when you can hardly see what sephiroth looks like because of the graphics?

u didn't quite listen. I'm not counting that, watch the end sequence of FFVII, the very last where sephiroth is cged (although, I'll give u it isn't all that great...), then compare it to Seymour, if you look, it looks like Sephiroths head just a little wider and w/ a bunch of other stuff thrown in like the vein and a differnt hair style to throw everyone off. There body build is very similar as well (though it looks like hes been buffed up a bit), though I'll give you that the graphics are much superior on a PS2.
I'm not saying they're physically twins, I'm just saying the skin on the model, and some of the model itself is incredibly similar.
dont even try to compare a half guado (especially seymour) to sephiroth.
i'm never going to udnerstand what your tlaking about, so theres no point posting it.

I thought Seymour was kinda dishy, except the stupid hair.
He wan't all that evil seeming though, not like Sephy, he did have a wickedly evil voice, really calm and eerie X_x;

He looked a little like Sephiroth to me, but actually he kinda reminded me of Adel from FFVIII. And yes, I know Adel's a "she," but a lot people think she looks like a guy and I still think that she looks like Seymour.

I thought he was a cool villan. He was always calm and collective. Never really lost his cool. Well, until I summoned the sisters and kicked his back to the farplane... Oh well!

What the hell you talking about, he is a homo. I'm sure he'd love it in an American prison. :D

Why compare Seymour to Sephiroth? Why compare everybody to Sephiroth all the time, geez. Square is, IMHO, being kind of original with their villains lately. I dont remember ever having met someone like Seymour.
Sure, the ressemblance to Sephiroth is great: Arms, legs.
Whatever.
I enjoyed him. :D
That means I hated him from the first time on I saw a body picture of him. Brrr... such bad taste in clothing!
Lets see... his creepy voice, the way he is smiling most of the time, that made him a really charismatic enemy. I was happy everytime I saw him because it meant emotions. :)
His 'special' relationship with Yuna is something else I totally love about him. His collegues from the previous games also tried to get close to the female main character, Seifer being her ex-boyfriend, Kuja talking about Garnet being beautiful and stuff, but he really got closest with the marriage thingy and all.

SEYMOUR WAS EVIL!!!!! hence Villain. I thought he was a well thought out character and the characteristic of a Villian being... psychotic.. well.. that helps alot. think they could have made a better Villain though.. Seymour at some points was kind of... laughable. Made a good Villain..but could have made better.

Seymour is a fanatic psychopath....thats all what counts. I think hes a good villain. And to me he looks totally different than the others before. Yeah, I think Square made a good job. ;)

All I know is... ANNOYING VOICE! AHHHH! MAKE IT STOP! That's why the final battle with Seymour is my favorite 'cause you NEVER have to listen to his high pitched sing-songy voice EVER AGAIN! (Unless you get that sphere in X-2, but that doesn't count!)

i thought seymour was a good villain, mainly because he was more subtle than previous enemies. his position as maester made things interesting along with the fact that he initially seems quite heroic(saving the stadium with anima) and mysteriously alluring.
Mika was the one who really made my skin crawl, he is so cowardly and u never get to fight him.

Of course Seymour is a good bad guy!Who wouldn't love to see him get beaten up by Sephiroth? If you were to tell me to give me one word to describe Seymour,I'd say ''Butthead''

He had 2 be 1 of the best villians ever. He gets under skin, annoys u and he is just simple. He has no secret motives he is just plainly insane which makes him fun 2 watch

I didn't like him the first time I saw him. I thought he was going to end up evil and I was right. He was a good villian I thought just couldn't stand the guy.
I was so happy the first time I got to kill him. Then when those guado tried to drag them away sooo wanted to kill them too so I could send the freak. Every time he came back it was like YOU AGAIN?!?! You just want the guy to die and stay dead.
