Thanks for the share - remember the film from ages ago but not the music, so am intrigued to see if it stands up after all these years! :)

It's an unusual score to say the least, but it works well within the context of the film.

Thank you for the share.

The early synthesizers on this soundtrack are wonderfully creepy. They make me think of Demon Seed even more than the actual Demon Seed soundtrack does.

Ahh yes Demon Seed remember that film well, in fact they filmed some scenes in my hometown was able to watch them film a bit.

Thanks for sharing. The score is doing very well in this movie, many scenes wouldn't had been so "scary" without it. A must for watching (and listening) for every scifi fan.
Appreciate it very much :-)

What a fantastic score! I remember this movie fondly.

Is there any possibility of posting this score in FLAC? I think the difference in quality with lossless would be really noticable especially with this early-synth score. Thanks!

Good lord, I have this on a cassette somewhere. I have no idea where I found out about buying it, probably an advertisement in Starlog in the early '80s, but I do remember that you bought it directly from Gil Melle. Just a regular cassette from the drug store, and a simple photocopy printed sleeve. I remember the "music" being very electronic, very cold. I must try to find it. Haven't thought about it in decades. Thanks for rekindling the memories!

Edit: Found it! But no matter how small I make the attachment, the site says I'm exceeding the file size by as big as the file is. So I can't attach a scan of the super simple cassette cover. Weird. The cuts are exactly the same as above.

I have the original octagon shaped LP and I'm trying to scan the covers including the flaps. I've been working on it for awhile to try and get the scans of a decent enough quality worth posting. Patience is a virtue, I guess.

Yes indeed Laohu and I both did re-ups so this one should last awhile although I would bet mine will last longer! :-D
